FBC Men's Disciplinship Ministry

Mission Statement: We are men of purpose who are united in our support of the mission of FBC through Evangelism, Discipleship, and Fellowship among brethren in a manner that will glorify God, edify each other and enhance the well being of the Church.

People only grow if they interact with God’s Word and with God’s people in a small group. The small group is important but the interaction is beyond just going to a class. It is about being engaged with the Word. This truth is the driving force behind the Men’s Discipleship Ministry. We want men to study the Bible and build real relationships with other Christians.  This desire is enhanced through quarterly prayer breakfast, national conventions and annual men’s retreat.  This ministry meets from September – May           Monday evenings at 7:00 pm in the NBC.

Ladies Disciplinship Ministry

Mission Statement: To teach, enable, empower, equip, and challenge the ladies of the First Baptist Church family to become disciplined followers of Christ as we serve the Lord and each other.

A true Christian disciple is one who imitates, learns about and witnesses the life of Christ.  Do you really want to know how to live victoriously? Do you truly want to have the abundant life that Jesus offers?  If you said yes, then you must equip your mind, body and spirit to do so.  The Ladies Discipleship ministry is designed to give the woman of God ammunition which will combat spiritual attacks by the Devil.  This ministry teaches each woman through the word of God how to build a personal relationship with God, care for and nurture her family while maintaining a solid foundation of faith.  This ministry meets September – May at 7 pm each Monday evening in the NBC.
